Ethereum Validator Exit Wait Grows to 9 Days with $2 Billion ETH Ready to Leave

More and more people who help run the Ethereum network (called validators) are choosing to leave. Right now, over 521,000 ETH, worth nearly $2 billion, are waiting to exit. Because of this, there is now a 9-day wait to leave the network — the longest in over a year.

This is happening after a strong ETH price rally. Since April, Ethereum’s price has jumped about 160%, going from around $1,385 to over $3,700. Many people who staked their ETH earlier are now taking profits.

At the same time, other users still want to join. More than 357,000 ETH, worth about $1.3 billion, are waiting to be staked. The wait to join is now over 6 days.
This shows that while some validators are leaving, others are joining in. Ethereum’s proof-of-stake system controls how fast people can enter or exit, which helps keep things stable.
Right now, Ethereum has over 1.09 million active validators and more than 35 million ETH staked on the network.

Impact:
If ETH price stays high, more validators might exit to take profits. But strong staking demand could keep the Ethereum network secure and balanced.
